FIRST YEAR MATTERS
I was approached by my former college IADT to design an identity for the 'First Year Matters' programme. I was asked to create a brand for the programme that would present the information across the college in a casual, attractive manner.
I knew I wanted to create something that did not look so much like a college campaign. I wanted it to be something fun and refreshing that encouraged people to get involved in the various events going on. I went for a poppy colour palette that is bright and energetic to make it attractive to the younger generation.
The identity was taken and applied to web by Detail. Design studio. Here students can access all timetables for FYM and keep up to date with other news and events.
The FYM induction ran across four weeks in September 2020, each requiring its own timetable with different events and lectures.
It was important to push each week across social media to ensure that students were aware of the current FYM week
Physical posters and timetables were printed and placed in strategic locations around the IADT campus.
